I chose the main pieces of work to include in my portfolio that would clasp the wide variety of skills I use up acquire end-to-end my time at Dakota State University. I treasured my portfolio to non focus primarily on star form of design. I included pieces not only created using Photoshop and Illustrator exactly hitherto Quark. I start my physical portfolio off with one of my preferent pieces of work. The railroad car that I created using Illustrator, based off the real exposure of the car, by making shapes and gradients to match the original picture. This project in itself helped me learn a lot some the architectural pattern and also working with gradients to create a more triplet dimensional effect. With this project I learned to work on the big picture first before I started culture the minor details. My portfolio a lso displays some of the work I constitute done outside of the classroom such as; logotype designs, business cards, and graduation announcements. One logo I establish created is for the Domestic Violence Network. They came to me after working with the United style on a project for my internship, asking me to develop a logo for this organization.

After sitting down and talking well-nigh what their plans were for the Domestic Violence Network I was then equal to(p) to draw up some rough sketches to give them an liking of possible logos. They chose a few designs they wanted to see do on the computer and I went from there. The one in my portfolio is the one they chose to use. The! idea was to keep it simple with lines that created the shape of a heart. I then created the savory line and making it look as though it wraps around the heart to symbolize protection.
